I snapped this photo yesterday morning before going out to do some fishing.
The reason I titled it, "Leaves of Grass" is because it reminded me of Walt Whitman's poetry collection of the same title. In it, he discusses many things, including celebrating yourself. One of the biggest themes, though, is the consistent mysteries in life that are birth, death and rebirth. Exactly what the life of a tree and it's branches go through every year. When one dies, another ends up growing in it's place.
Beauty with a hint of malaise.
Happy Steeming.
looks like a silhoutte
