Today I was able to capture macro photography shots of a starbellied orb weaver spider resting upon it's web.
This species of spider is common in the summer time here in Florida. They can be found in an area ranging from Canada to Mexico.
They usually feed on the larvae of other insects, like grasshoppers, as well as others that get caught in their web. This spider's web was about 8 -10 inches tall, which is commonplace.
Stay tuned for more macro shots today, as the sun is bright today and there is currently no clouds in sight!
One love,
I have never seen this kind of spider before. Thanks to steemit users we can see incredible things.

Wow, again another great shot. I don't think I recall having ever seen one of those. Mostly I get to deal with wolf spiders or daddy long legs when my wife needs me to kill them :)
