Picture 22.png

This is a picture I took of the Alice in Wonderland bronze statue in Central Park, NYC. Not only was the statue magnifciently made (I couldn't get the perfect shot because kids kept climbing on the statue), but also a thrill for me to see, for "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" was one of my favorite stories growing up.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is a novel by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll, about a teenage girl who falls into a wormhole through a hole. There she finds herself conversing with anthropomorphic animals, such as the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit. What captured me as a child was it's message of adventure, working through logic, and trust. Most of all, imagination. These are all aspects I have tried to live my life by. May we all do the same.

Happy steeming, friends!

I just hate that. When people keep climbing into my picture. You've still caught the essence of it none the less. 😊
