At the second attempt, the sun was laughing.

Beim zweiten Versuch hat doch noch die Sonne gelacht.

If anyone remembers my plan B, which fell into the water last Saturday (The painted forest / Der bemalte Wald), this waterfall was my plan B, and today it worked 😉
After we had a beautiful autumn day again today, I decided in the morning, that my office would work just as much without me today as with me, I put on my hiking clothes and drove to Kobarid.

Falls sich jemand an meinen Plan B, welcher am letzten Samstag ins Wasser gefallen ist, erinnern kann (The painted forest / Der bemalte Wald), dieser Wasserfall war mein Plan B, und heute hat er funktioniert 😉
Nachdem wir heute wieder einen wunderschönen Herbsttag hatten, habe ich mich am Vormittag entschlossen, dass mein Büro heute ohne mich genau so viel leistet, wie mit mir, habe ich meine Wandersachen angezogen und bin nach Kobarid gefahren.

Nearby Kobarid you can reach the Kozjak waterfall in about half an hour by a comfortable hiking trail. The trail first runs across a meadow and along the Soča and then next to or above the Kozjak stream. Just before the confluence of the Kozjak creek with the Soča there is a long suspension bridge over the emerald-green Soča.

In der Nähe von Kobarid kann man den Kozjak Wasserfall über einen bequemen Wanderweg in einer guten halben Stunde erreichen. Der Weg verläuft zuerst kurz über eine Wiese und entlang der Soča und dann neben bzw oberhalb des Baches Kozjak. Kurz vor der Einmündung des Kozjak Baches in die Soča befindet sich eine lange Hängebrücke über die smaragdgrüne Soča.

Once again, good morning JJ 🙂
Thank you so much, this waterfall is quite different from the other waterfalls, because it's a very narrow gorge, where it comes down. The Soca river has such a emerald green color all the time - on other places even more.

From the photos I have seen of this waterfall, I thought, it was in a cave, but there are these rock walls left and right. It's really cool there - also the air is cool ;)

Thank you - most of the images of this waterfall look quite the same ;)
I will go there again, but at a time, when I'm alone. Then I'll try to get down to the water from this wooden pathway which ends as a small platform at the point where I took the photo. In Summer it's certainly refreshing to walk through the water there, but now it might be a bit too cold ;) Maybe then I can show better, that it is a narrow gorge.

Judging from beautiful photos of that amazing Kozjak waterfall ( completely different from other waterfalls ) and creek with clear blue/green waters, can't believe that it was only plan B !!😯

Oh, if the weather stays good over the weekend I will complete plan A too ;)

Thank you that you like the photos, @cezary-io 🙂 This waterfall is completely different, that's right.

This was just some kind of scouting trip - it was midday and the sun was too bright for me to photograph. The waterfall itself is in the gorge and in the shadow, but the brook and the other, smaller waterfalls have been in the bright sun. I will go there again, but early in the morning.

Very cool and calm atmosphere around the emerald green water! The sun is playing with the water fall!
The second photo looks very inviting! I would sit in the cool water for a while just to get some direct energy and get wet!!

Behind and beside me there have been a few tourists, which wanted to be on my spot to take photos too - the atmosphere was a bit hectic, but after I let them take their photos I have been alone and the scene has suddenly become calm and cool, just as you say. So, I enjoyed taking some photos and left the place right before the next tourists came along.
The Soca river is such a beautiful river and in the Summertime many tourists are bathing there. The water is quite cool, but refreshing.

It looks like a grotto, but it's a narrow gorge where the waterfall comes down. You are right, there's very little light in there.

All the rivers there are so very clean, @janton, the Slovenian do really care for their nature.
I have been there at about noon, so the sun was too bright for taking photos, but there was also much shadow because of the trees, and the waterfall itself is in this narrow gorge, where it's very dark.

Right, the rock walls are so narrow that it looks like a cave, but it is only a gorge :)

Yes, it is Saturday and I have been on a forest walk at a reservoir this morning. Later it began to rain, so I have spent the afternoon at my computer editing photos and preparing my tonight's post.

It isn't at night, it is in the evening - I post at 7pm.
No, I don't have any real reason and no strategy. Over the months I have noticed, that this is the best time for me to post. If I have finished my post earlier I schedule it for 7pm, what is possible with Steempeak.
When my post is online I have about 2 hours until I go to bed. In this time I see through other posts, do my votings, comments and replies.
That's all, my friend 🙂
