This is also a reason for our people, why they go to the doctors before they retire - to have some days off ;) Actually in their last few months you can hardly see one at work.
But your first reason is the better and important one - get it done as soon as possible.

I have a follow up check in about 7 weeks unless the calf’s start cramping again like they did before the first one will see how they do over the weekend and then decide next week whether it can wait

I took it easy this morning and will see how it goes over the weekend, if my valves ease up then its all good, if they keep getting tight when walking then I will call the Doctor next week and see if he wants me to come in earlier
