If you're planning on coming to California or live in California check out The Tides in Bodega Bay. It's a really nice place with nice people and the atmosphere is great, well just take a look at the photos and you know you just can't beat kicking back outside with the bay right at your feet.
On the way home I stop off at a few beaches, some where full while other not so much still a great experience. If you can take a few hours and BBQ on the beach a small bbq works great with a small ice chest for drinks :)

This is the front of The Tides restaurant, parking is normally okay it can be packed sometimes in the mornings because its the only place to eat breakfast that early in town.
