Lake Day - Decompression Of The Mind #264

in photography •  7 years ago

Doesn't that make you want to just jump in a boat and take it for a ride. You can rent a boat for a fair price and not have to worry about storing it away for the winter or any other things that come along with it and unless you plan on being on the lake a lot its really not worth buying a boat. Maybe the next time I'm hear I'll rent a small paddle boat for the heck of it, to change things up a bit that would be even cheaper and a really nice day on the lake taking photos all day!

Ahh much better, If you have photos that you can't use, it becomes content for another artistic method. As you can see below its blown out white and off balanced. I straiten up the horizon while fixing the blown out trees, as you see I didn't fix the area next to the water I might come back later and fix that part of it but for now this was a good demonstration of how you can fix almost any photo. The more I do this the more I learn and become familiar with this style of art and the more I can do for fixing damaged photos. This was really to see how much I could do with the skills I have learned. So much work went into this photo its really about doing it all fast enough with out giving up quality.

Really Awesome Place

Thank you @khimsariya what did you like about my photo art?

That is a significant difference from the original. While I really enjoy photography particularly macrophotography, I am still very much an amateur and learning. I have not really delved into editing photos too much other than adjusting the brightness and contrast a bit. I would like to start learning how to but would not know where to begin..

Down load Gimp if you don't have a photo editor, I posted a few post showing how I do some of what I do, This one was more complex changing for form of the photo and replacing trees adding in hills. I will at some point take some time out and do a How To for each part I do. You can find some how to guides on youtube but most of them are for the older versions and thats an outdated tool set. When you do the search for Gimp Photo Editor use the ver number 2.10 and for this last 6 months or so. If you have discord I can try and help you on voice chat if you want.

Thank you, I greatly appreciate the info and will definetly look into it soon. I'm not on discord at the moment, but I'm probably going to break down and get the app in the near future.

Looks good. So you changed the sky and clouds too?

Yes, I also added mountains and other stuff.
