I realize that Cervantes does not mention it, but if we imagine, it is very possible that the most sagacious of our knights-errant, the passionate hidalgo Don Alonso Quijano, converted, by the work and grace of the Muse, into the intrepid champion of that limbo of the lost, where, according to the poet Villon, the snows of yesteryear always end up, one day he exchanged his wanderings across the plains of La Mancha and, disarmed and defeated, he let himself fall, meditative, into this dark corner of the Montes de Toledo, where a badly wounded set of artisanal sacred architecture, sighs, like desperate Dulcinea, for everything that one day the wind took away.

Saint Mary of Melque, once a mirror of the golden crowns of the Visigoth kings, whose brilliance was reflected in the superimposed arches of its basilica design, is now a lost algorithm, which, however, interacting from the silence provided by the centuries, challenges the imagination with the inclusion of an equation of multiple possibilities, whose random unknown, carries implicitly, like a watermark, the property right of a creative genius, whose name is, furthermore, inseparable from life itself: its mystery.
