Cuando se viaja por el Norte de España y se llega, bien por azar o bien mediante una ruta planificada, a pueblos de antigua, antiquísima tradición marinera, situados a la vera de unos acantilados de vértigo que detienen con la paciencia que dan los mansos siglos los furiosos embates de un mar, el Cantábrico, se tiene la curiosa sensación de estar inmersos en un bucle, donde el tiempo, que al fin y al cabo, es el mayor asesino del hombre, ha hecho también un alto en su eterno transcurrir, rendido, como el viajero, a su belleza y mediático pintoresquismo.
