Ver la sombra de caballo y jinete proyectada sobre ese suelo cuartelero sobre el que se ejercitan, me recuerda, además, esa faceta psicopompa, en absoluto exenta de romanticismo, donde el caballo no sólo era un compañero inseparable en la vida, sino también, un guía en la muerte, al igual que el espíritu de Virgilio lo fue para Dante Alighieri, en ‘La Divina Comedia’.
