I miss that view... I used to love walking through Tarifa to the beach and seeing the lights on the other side in the evening. It's amazing how close it really is, and yet, how dangerous the currents are between the continents.
I would have liked to visit more often, but I lived in Los Barrios and Ronda, so Tarifa was a bit of a jaunt. There's a great place for churros there, though! It was worth the trip just for those!

Really awesome! I would also love to go there, i found cheap flight opportunities from Frankfurt. But first, i have to go to Frankfurt from Budapest and that's more expensive than to go to the Canaries.
