Hi Steemit!
Finally I am back on Steemit! I have been to Italy for a week, which is the reason why I haven't been active here on Steemit. I am back now and I will be posting blogs again every day. Hopefully soon we will reach 200 followers, because I will be doing another giveaway of 2 STEEM then :)
Today's post is about a lunch that I had while I was in Italy. The restaurant where we ate is called Pavone which means Peacock in Italian.
As Antipasto my girlfriend and I had the tasting with different types of cured meat, grilled polenta with a mousse of asparagus, a fresh salad with asparagus and shrimps and bread with a black truffle spread.
As Primo I had the fresh Gnochetti di Ricotta with asparagus and Speck di Asiago.
It is so nice to see that when it is the season for asparagus, you see only asparagus being served in the restaurants. Which for me is very nice because you know everything is fresh and is farmed locally. I really enjoyed the lunch and I will definitely go there again soon.

Yes it was definitely a very enjoyable lunch :) The restaurant is close to the city of Bassano del Grappa, in Romano D'ezzelino.
