The Nailed Stone (Piedra Clavada)

This is the Piedra Clavada in the Valle Lunar park in southern Argentina. Set on the edge of a hill, this enormous rock sticks out of the ground and looks out of place in the landscape.

I plan on doing a comprehensive write up on my blog in the coming months.

That is a cool rock. You will have so much time to explore down there now . How is the spanish going?

It's actually going better than I expected. After 6 months of study and practice I know just enough to get by in most situations. Although as learning often goes, the more I acquire the more I realize I don't know.

Sounds great. I know what you mean about the more you know the more you realise you don't know.
