I am still WOW-ed days after my husband and me took a one day trip to Røros, sometimes called Bergstaden (The rock town) due to its historical notoriety for copper mining. Today, the inhabitants still live and work in the characteristic 17th and 18th century (medieval) buildings, and are proud that their cozy little town is UNESCO World heritage site since 1980.
Just look at this beauty!
I have heard that this little town receives around 80 000 tourists in winter time, when they have idyllic Christmas markets and other winter events! We.simply.must.go.AGAIN!
Very nice pictures :)
