Random Travel Photos #3

Hey everyone! I'm back again with more random photos from my travels!

I have been absent from Steemit the past two days. Unfortunately I was struck with food poisoning! It was rough but I made it through. Lesson learned! What you eat is important and there's a reason some foods get nicknamed "junk" food. Now that I'm feeling better it's time to get back Steeming!

This first picture I ran into is actually really awesome. I went to Washington, D.C. with my brother and father about 7 years ago. Washington, D.C. for those who don't know, is the capitol of the United States of America! A friend of our family took us on a tour of the White House when we were there. That's where the president lives! We got to see lot's of different rooms and even got to eat at the president's restaurant inside. Super friggin' cool.

This photo is from the press room. You might recognize it from the news, as it is often one of the places in the White House the president and officials use to address the public.

Our next picture is from San Francisco, California! This one is Golden Gate Park, one of the biggest parks in the city. In particular, this hill is called Hippie Hill.

It is known as being a place for hippies to come and trade/sell things to each other. Drugs in particular haha! But it is also a big hangout spot as well. I was on a trip with my brother @grapthar at the time. We went to San Francisco to see a band called The Bananas!

The last photo we have today was taken at the Del Mar Fair in southern California. My friend had rode this ride but I was waaaay too scared to do it. Once strapped into the chair the bungee cords stretch until they are at maximum tension and you are launched into the air. Spinning forwards and backwards hundreds of feet in the air looked like too much for me!
