Hiking near the Baltic sea

Yesterday we went for another hiking trip on Sormlandsleden. This part of the trail was rather hilly with small climbs but it also offered some nice walking in the forest.
Our trip began by the Baltic sea and we found some old fishing boats and nets just in the beginning of the trail.

I just loved this view with the tree lit up by the sun.

These signs shows where the trail goes.

We climb a bit and the view up on the hill was stunning. Almost the whole archipelago was visible. We stopped for a while to enjoy the view.

We went back down on a path that was a bit away from the sea, the forest is lovely in October sun:-)

We putted our hands into the water but it was rather cold, I had no intention to dive into it, even if it looked beautiful and tempting...

Time for a break, we stopped by the fire place for some lunch.

The last part of the trail was following a creek, we went upstream. The water was coloured by the soil and a bit brown. It made a wonderful contrast to the surroundings. When we entered this part of the trail the sun went away and the weather got cloudy and cold. But still the nature was stunning, and I loved it.

Thanks, well it was not that warm weather (+5 °C), but enough to make us warm during the walk. I would love some summer, but we need to go through a winter first...
