Look forward
Standing alone by the sea
Blue, blue water in front of me
I look further and gaze
Far, far away I can spot the horizon
Resolutions and goals
Important aspects of life, to look forward
Reaching for the horizon
Still the best in life is here
On the shore
Under the tree
Watching the sea moving forward and back
Forward and back
I will stay for a while and enjoy
Enjoy watching the sea and every moment that pass

New Year, a lot of hope, resolutions and goals. I have goals too, I sort of need it to get things done. But it’s important to never forget that life happens here and now. We should never forget to embrace the moment. I wish for much love and mindfulness for you in 2018.

I have a soft spot for anything to do with the ocean (I grew up in a coastal fishing town), so you had me at "seascape" - LOL! Great shot, and beautiful poetry to go with it. Well done!
