Nice shot man!
We're featuring you on #photofeed, congrats!

Awesome! Thanks for the support :)

It’s such a cool spot (and great photo). . Will have to get there one day.

It's a great spot for long exposures. You just have to compete with the fishermen for space ;)

Will have to head down the next time I am near Melb.

It has a very surreal feel almost like an abstract painting thanks to the vibrant colors and the totally blurred water and clouds. The wood creates leading lines into infinity, giving it space to breath.

There is a very interesting contrast between a dynamic, stormy sky and the static, frozen water.

Sublime picture!

A strong body wins battles, a strong mind wins the war.

Great quote. When there is a will, there is a way. People often underestimate the power of their mind. It isn't all about physical strength. Another quote that kind of ties in: luck is when preparation meets opportunity.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a nice comment on my photo. The quote is my own as well and something that I live by. Have a great day and best of luck ;)

Well done. I like a good long exposure photo and this one works really well in colour. What ND filter strength did you use? Did you need to colour correct? Thanks.

Thanks, Tom! I used a NiSi 10 Stop ND here. You can see my entire editing process here too: https://kieranstone.com/full-edit-tutorial

Ahhhhhh yeah! Getting resteemed on your 2nd day! Killing it Kieran!

I must be doing something right! Still taking a while to get my head around everything. Too use to conventional Social Media :P

Very interesting pattern created by the wood pylons, and well shot!

It's a very popular spot for photography ;)

I can see why! :-) My sister is in Australia at the moment. I wonder if she has seen it!

How did you take this photo ? It looks great!

It's a long exposure from Princes Pier in Melbourne. With the shutter open for 2min all the detail from moving water and the clouds blurs out

Some amazing lines, and perspective. The colors are crisp as well. Good job.

Thank you very much :)

Wow, this is amazing!!

Thanks, Betty!

It's what everyone's commenting on, but I really love how the long exposure made the piling even more jarring against the background. Deft work!

Thanks so much! Have a great day :)

Rarely i meet the original good photo.
I wish you success.

Much appreciated! Success for you too :)

thank you @kieranstone.

Beautiful work. The line-up of the ocean piling graveyard.

Thank you :)

wow I didn't think long exposure would be used for anything but capturing lights. We learn something new everyday :) Thank you for sharing this great shot!

Daytime long exposures are a lot of fun and create a beautiful mood. Glad you like it, LLF ;)

Impressive work! Will follow you over on Instagram right now. Thats also where I came from recently till i found this place.

Thanks for the double support ;) Love your colourful food!

Love it! Gorgeous color and texture.

Looks like quite a long exposure

Thank you! It's a 2min exposure ;)

I am planning a trip to Melbourne. I love long exposures of pylons and cant wait to find this spot!

It is in Port Melbourne, not to far from where the Spirit of Tasmania docks.

Really good shot. Perfect composition and amazing water color :)

Following you...

Thanks heaps! Have a great day :)
