So this is a summary of DJI's newest Drone.

The Mavic 2 comes in two configurations. The Pro and the Zoom. Both with unique features.

The Pro

The Pro has got a four times bigger sensor than its predecessor, with sums up to a size of 1". The most interesting for Media-People will be the 10bit D-Log video capturing. So you have way more possibilities at grading your footage the way you like. Also with DJI buying Hasselblad, they got new knowledge in Lens manufacturing, so they have a new F2.8 - F11
L1D-20c Lens with amazing image quality. Not to mention the HDR Video and Photo capabilities.

The Zoom

The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom Edition has got a 24-48mm optical Zoom lens, which gets you a 2x Zoom optical and additional 2x Zoom digital, in 1080p video. So now you can do a parallax-/vertigo- or however you want to call it -effect. Autofocus will be 40% quicker than the Mavic Pro and you can do 48 Megapixel Photos, when you choose to have a 24mm field of view.
It is doing that by stitching together 9 separate Images to one big one.

In general:

Both Drones come with new features to capture and an automation to do Hyperlapses in many different ways. Whether a circle, or a waypoint. There are many options to choose from. H.265 Video will also be included in both drones, so they are fitted with features for the future. DJI claims to have a flight time on both drones of up 31 Minutes, which is nuts, and also Video transmission of 8km in perfect conditions.

Generally speaking these two new drones are amazing and I really think about ordering one straight away.

What do you guys think?
Let me know

Best wishes
Thomas
