Do you know why flowers are said to be perfect and imperfect? To answer this question we need to explain that the flower is perfect when the flower has two reproductive organs. That is the male reproductive apparatus (stamens) and the female reproductive apparatus (pistil).
So what is the name of the reproductive organs in the female flowers? The reproductive organs in the female flowers are carpelum or the Indonesian term leaves.
This reproductive organ at its base will be encountered by a fruit or ovary with more than one will of seeds such as ovulum and plural ovula. Carpelum will bring the female gametes inside the embryo sac.
Then if you look more deeply at the tip of the pistil (female reproductive apparatus) will be found also the stigma to receive pollen (pollen). This pistil stalk will later function as a pollen to the fruit will.
Likewise, the perfect flower must have all parts of the flower. All parts of this flower also include sterile parts or fertile parts.
Then why the flower is said not perfect? Flowers say not perfect if the flower has only one of the two reproductive tools only. Whether it only has a thread of course or pistil only
