My work.
The Kharkov tobacco factory (part of the Philip Morris International structure) in January-March 2015 reduced the sales of cigarettes by 9.8% compared to the same period in 2014 (shipment volume was 4.6 billion pieces). This was reported by the portal "Delo".
According to the company's quarterly report, the drop in the volume of illegal cigarette trade partially offset the disruption of business processes due to political instability in the east of the country. At the same time, according to the quarterly report of A.C. Nielsen, in February this year, compared to the same month in 2014, the company's market share in Ukraine decreased by 1.5% to 31.7%.
Including a drop in the share of some brands was:
Marlboro - by 0.5% to 4.6%,
Parliament - by 0.1% to 2.9%,
Chesterfield - by 0.9% to 4.4%.
