Learning features of Nikon Coolpix P900

Hi there steam community!

I've got new "toy" I'm taking pictures with. It's Coolpix P900. So for now this is rookie phase until I completely learn all the ways how camera works. It's not easy to get everything right, like it takes a lot of knowledge to use Shutter priority option, right timing, filters, position of the sun, etc....
So for now I'll stick to the user options and HDR photography, until I get all right. I'll be glad to hear your thoughts, opinions and guidelines if you used P900.
The best part (for now) is it's zoom. It's 83x and you get pictures of moon like this:
