Garden of Lights Tour at the Botanical Gardens of Montreal

Last fall I went to the Garden of Lights tour at the Botanical Gardens of Montreal. It was planned ahead of time, and as luck would have it... it was a poor evening to go walking as it was raining and a bit cold. The pictures sometimes were not too good. So apologies in advance.

From the ticket counter you walk up the path towards the start of the Garden of Lights tour. Then you follow the general path outlines in yellow on the map above. There are other small paths as well so you can walk around a bit more, but in general that is the trajectory taken. The rest of the garden is closed off.

There are three main attractions:

• Chinese Garden
• Japanese Garden
• First Nations Garden

Here are some pictures, mainly of the Chinese and Japanese gardens. The Native one had less bright or vivid displays and the pictures didn't turn out too good.

Those were the best images I had. Some were blurry, as I guess my hand was cold and wet and not being steady enough to take the picture.
