Pike's Peak Colorado! 14,114ft.

in photography •  8 years ago

I was recently at Pike's Peak, this is what it looks like above 14k. Pike's Peak is just west of Colorado Springs overlooking it.

Colorado Springs off in the distance.

Facing North.

Facing North East.

This one is facing south east.

Another look North East.

A look west.

Another look west.

And a look South East.

This is just one of our 14ers. Colorado is truly beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful. I'll have to get out there someday. Thanks for sharing!

@kushfreeman Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

I've been up there a few times in my life. Always enjoy the views. I would live in the little shop/cafe, if they'd allow it.

Nice shot of the Devil's Playground (looking west). I've never seen it that green.

amazing photo and beautiful the Cloud

Amazing place, if you ride a motorcycle then this place should be on your " to visit" bucket list.

Try taking a Semi Truck over that road, when you are 14'6" wide and 120' long....I was shitting myself all the way up and down when i had to do it. Pissed people off though only doing 2-4 miles an hour.

Have you heard? "The Colbert Report" is now on Steemit. Two -= Steemit Exclusive =- Episodes so far: Episode 1 | Episode 2

How long it took to get there? How did do it? By walking? I suppose it took a long time

I haven't hiked a whole lot of it yet besides the incline but it takes at least half a day to go up there even if you just drive up and come down. I would recommend making a day of it .

Nice pictures!
I've just came back from a trip from Colorado, have been living there 10 days near Alma in the mountains. I am planning to share at least few posts about it as well, just started today.
