State Of Decay: Abandoned Funeral Home with Power Still ON!steemCreated with Sketch.

Hello to all! Today I'm going to walk you through an abandoned funeral home that I visited not long ago. I will be using photos from another cited source in this post. My own photos had subpar lighting and I wanted to show you the best of the best.

The bando we will visit today is an abandoned funeral in an undisclosed location. It was closed down in 2013 when the owners, the Peeple family, relocated the business to a riverfront district. The pictures you are about to see reflect just how destructive the forces of nature can be in such a short amount of time, 4 years.

As you can see in the picture, many of the caskets were left behind from operation. When the first explorer explored this place, they came upon the ashes of the deceased lying in the decay of the building. A sad find, to say the least. There is a difference between leaving buildings behind... And leaving human remains behind.

A few different random items throughout the building. We came upon a few makeshift beds put up by squatters. We also have heard a few rumors about prostitutes operating out of the building. Either way, there were definitely people staying in this place.

Something really cool about this place that I want to note is about the power. Despite being totally abandoned, all of the functional lights still work. The electricity is still being supplied to the building! Did I mention that the casket lift still worked also!? We may or may not have tried the lift out ourselves...

Until next time, Adventurers.
