When I was walking in the forest, I saw this small snail chewing vigorously a death flower. Unlike slugs, they carry their protective shell all the time. Snails are a very old species, scientists found fossils of them and they say they have existed for more than 600 millions of years.

It's nice to see them walking very slow, so I could take many pictures of them. In Gothenburg, they start to appear at the beginning of spring. It's like they are welcoming the flowers season.

Cuando estaba caminando por el bosque, yo vi este pequeño caracol masticando vigorosamente esta flor muerta. A diferencia de las babosas, ellos cargan su caparazón todo el tiempo. Los caracoles son una especie muy antigua, científicos han econtrado fósiles y calculan que han vivido desde have más de 600 millones de años.
