Portuguese man o' war

in photography •  6 years ago

The Atlantic Portuguese man o' war we found it at the Legzira Beach in Morocco. Its venomous long tentacles deliver a painful sting, which on extremely rare occasions has been fatal to humans. Despite its appearance, the Portuguese man o' war is not a true jellyfish but a siphonophore, which called zooids or polyps.
