One photo a day challenge (121/365) all year long

Today, on my way home, I noticed two deers hanging out by the side of the road. I immediately pulled over to take some pictures while keeping a safe distance enough not to scare them away.
Here’s the pictures in a gif

Deers always move about when the weather changes. Like just before it gets too cold and before it gets too hot it seems. It’s always nice to see them in a herd.

The first thought that came to my mind was; "isn't there any hunter to hunt down the deers for meat?"
The next thing I did was to check on Google to see if deer meats are forbidden or unsafe for human consumption.

haha...spoken like a true african man. always on the hunt for good meat

😂🤣🤣

Proudly Nigerian....

Lolzzz in Africa the deer couple🦌 🦌 would be used instantly for soup.

Africa is too large....In Nigeria those deers are good as gone.

Lolzzz

You will not kill me with your comments. You are too funny. There are lots of rules and laws here, you can't hunt certain animals and i'm pretty sure you can't do it in public.

Lolzzzz no eating law for a core African man.

We eat almost everything lol

Hilarious. I think animals had long ago celebrated their independence over there. They dare not try it even chickens are not safe

Great pictures... way to be alert!

Thank you.

These comments about bush meat mehhnnn...lol. Its lovely to see animals just doing what they do without being bothered. We need more animal control laws in Africa. Who is with me?

Nah you sabbi that one oh. That will take forever to pass, almost everyone in Africa loves meat.

Who owns the deers?

Those are freely roaming deers. No one owns them.

Really cool seeing deer walking around. In Africa especially Nigeria, we see deer as bush meat. Before you stop your car, the deer would have disappeared to the thin air. Nice photos

Same for us in Cameroon lol, i notice that animals here are a lot more trusting of people. I remember hanging out in a university feeding squirrels and they were just walking up to me to get their nuts. I was quite surprised but it was a beautiful experience.

I wish to get that feelings someday, even the doves are scared of Nigerians but far more friendly in London.... Animals in Africa don't trust African, cos they will be used as meat to cook anytime. lolz

Lolzzz...
No animal will trust you over here ooo.

Something keeps telling me you are from Africa somehow.
Was actually guessing Nigeria

I’m Cameroonian.

Ooo wow I'm Nigerian...

It's nice knowing you fam

Love your spontaneous mind.

You are swift to take a picture of that which captures your heart.

Nice photos in gif

Thank you. I was lucky to see them tonight.

Such sweet bush meat there not walk on Nigerian road. If the driver isn't having a gun, he would use his car to crush the deer down.

Never in my life have I seen a deer, that's fine. I did not know that a daily photo could include a gif. it seems good to me, however you do not lose the answer of what is in the background a daily photo?
Excuse my ignorance of that.

The gif is a series of pictures really.
