Hello, dear Steemians
From Old To New
Today we continue here with a technology update.
An old LED TV of mine suddenly no longer displayed a signal and was thus about to be discarded after 13 years.
After a bit of research, I came across a TV stick.
Until then, I hadn't even thought about the subject, but such a stick is a small computer with a quad-core processor with 1.7 GHz, 650 MHz GPU and 8 GB RAM.
During Black Week, with almost 50% off for 20 euros, it's definitely worth a try.
The workmanship is quite good and the connection with the TV is self-explanatory. The part goes directly into the HDMI input and is supplied with juice via USB or power socket.
After switching on the TV and activating the HDMI port, you see a start screen.
The configuration from here is quite easy via the TV remote control or you can also set it up via your smartphone.
The picture quality is satisfactory and now you have a place to switch to if you want to watch a different programme than the one on the main TV.
MIssion successfully completed.
The only drawback is that the device is also an Amazon bug, but we are already used to that from smartphones.
Wow! Progress! I wouldn’t know! I didn’t watch tv for over ten years!😂
