Assalamu Alaikum,
A pesticide shop’s 'Shubh Hal Khata' (New Account Opening) is a common practice in the Bangladeshi market. When farmers are engaged in farming, they often purchase pesticides on credit from pesticide shops. The shopkeeper records the remaining balance in a ledger. When the farmers harvest and sell their crops, they return to pay off their dues. At that time, the shopkeepers organize a 'Hal Khata' ceremony, inviting the farmers. The farmers then bring the money and attend the event. The shopkeeper retrieves the ledger, checks the farmer's name, and the farmers pay the amount they owe. The shopkeepers also treat the farmers with refreshments. Today, I captured a photo of a pesticide shop’s Hal Khata event in our market and shared it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog. I always try my best to share my finest photography with you. Anyway, if you like these photographs even slightly appealing, please follow me and support me. Once again, thank you so much, everyone!!
