We arrived to Melbourne in the beginning of June, after our one month trip in South East Asia. Our plan was to stay in Melbourne for a while, but we got jobs that require us to travel so we spend there only two weeks.
In the first week we were exploring the CBD area and surroundings. We stopped to visit the Shrine of Remembrance, a memorial to men who served in World War I and is now a memorial to all Australians who served in war. Next we rented a car for a day and went to see the Lysterfield park. It is a beautiful spot, not far from Melbourne offering a range of recreational activities. The day was special for us because for the first time we saw kangaroos.
