I was looking for a photo I took in Italy last summer and ran across images that I either initially rejected or overlooked because I was cherry picking the best. Often times there are real gems that get discarded during the first round of edits. So I picked out some images that were forgotten and bringing them back to life here...for you Steemians!

We found an abandoned shipyard just outside of Venice.
The same Italian actress above. We did some funky long exposures for this effect.
Flying into Venice it seems so small. I honestly didn't realize that Venice is a small island. Amazing.
I arrived in Venice in the morning but was so beat I went to sleep. I woke up the next day super early and shot Venice at 5am, before all the tourists bombarded the streets.
View out the Bridge of Sighs. Imagine this was your last view before they through you in the dungeon.

I met this Italian girl who wanted photos...so we did photos and she gave me a tour of Venice.
Venice at night is the best because all the cruise ship people are back in their cabins.

hahahaha...my last 5 or 6 posts made under a $1. So I keep thinking "why bother putting all this work into a community that doesn't seem to notice"

most of your posts deserve higher reward, as they are quality content. Unfortunately, you are not getting the exposure you deserve. The last 2 posts that have made >$15 where curated by @curie, and that is why they got significantly higher upvotes and rewards. Its not that the community doesn't notice, it's just that not every one of your posts catches a whale's or big curator's attention. You need to look at it more as averages... as you get more followers, your rewards will increase.
Also, spend a little time giving upvotes; Even if its just for meaningful comments on your own posts. It seems a little odd complaining about lack of rewards when you have not GIVEN a single upvote in at least the last 10 days...
Look into how voting power works (basically each vote reduces your Voting Power by 2%, and your voting power 'recharges' at 20% per day... so you can give 10 upvotes a day and maintain your voting power.) the less VP you have, they less weight your vote has, so dont get carried away :)
