As I mentioned in my previous post, I visited London last spring and had great time exploring the city.
One of the popular sights in London is the Tower Bridge of which I snapped a nice picture while standing in front of the Tower of London. This eye-catching bridge was build in 1894, so it isn't actually as old as you might think by the looks of it.
The reson for it's kinda oldish look is the fact that during the late 19th century the bridges of the city began to be quite crowded so the parlament decided that a new bridge had to be build. The new bridge had to fit the surrounding and that is why they build it so that it resembels the Tower of London which is located right beside the northern end of the bridge.
