Photo Modification

I was playing around in GIMP this morning and having fun modifying one of my recent photos. I took this photo when I was out walking around a disc golf course. There was an inviting path going between a line of trees and some bramble bushes. Someone has been maintaining it well and mowing back the bushes.

To me it feels like it lost a bit of the mystery once you see the original. I debated if I wanted to even post it. I actually was not intending to initially but I loaded the wrong file by mistake. Once they were both up there I thought that seeing them side by side was kind of nice.

The manipulated image creates a different mood for the image and very fitting for the caption you wrote under the image.
