In my opinion Antalya is one of the most beautiful and unique places in Turkey. A couple of weeks ago I've been in a place called Kaleiçi, which could be translated to something like 'within the walls of the castle'. As the translation trivially implies, it is a very historical place, which contains many of the city's historic sites. Nevertheless, renovations to the marina and waterfront have added several hotels, restaurants and shops, making this a popular tourist destination.
The city of Antalya was one of the Eastern Mediterranean’s most important port cities in the Byzantine period, whereby 'Kaleiçi' is the historic city center of Antalya, Turkey. Its cultural significance for the environment is ubiquitous and beyond dispute.
Anyways, enough of words, as we all know a picture is worth a thousand words so let me share some of those moments with you in the following.
