This little guy was hiding at the bottom of the nest and looks very healthy.
One of our nests has a returning pair that always lays white eggs.
We are fortunate to have moved into a house in the country several years ago with a Bluebird trail already setup. I immediately went online to find out how to take care of them and their houses. I submit an annual report to the Oklahoma Bluebird Society on the number of nests, eggs, chicks and fledglings we have each year. They are very tolerant of humans which is great since I often have to touch the eggs and chicks in order to count them.
Juvenile trying to hide but too big.
Just hatched.
