The spring of 2020 was very strange, we spent it at home in isolation. But after two months of lockdown, I found opportunity to leave the house and go for a walk in the nearest forest. It was amazing time - lupines were blooming, and nature was beautiful and full of life!
And not only flowers were here. One of my passions is macrophotography of insectes, so I try to find them everywhere, especially in the forest. That day, I chose photographs for publication in a book about the Russian nature. And for the book, I need photography of a weevil Lixus iridis was required, but I only had a Lixus fasciculatus. And I was lucky on that day to find that same weevil that I need!
And some other insects did that day in lockdown better.
So now I'm waiting the spring very much, to see and do photos of more insects
