Hi, friends! The city began with the canals. They cover our city with the whole network. Once upon a time, a long time ago, a lot of channels were laid to drain the swamps and provide the city with water and convenient ways of communication. There are places in our city where several channels intersect with each other, as in this photo.

Yes, it is one of the earliest areas of development of our city. To him 300 years. Most of the buildings of those years have survived. It was a quiet neighborhood. Here lived merchants, officials and small traders of various goods. It was not too rich and therefore everything here is so modest and without pomposity and pretentiousness.
