We have the first Onions! - ¡Tenemos las primeras Cebollas!
This morning my father went to water the orchard again. It is necessary to water every 3-4 days as it is very hot and if they do not water often they could dry some plants. It has to be taken into account that the orchard is in the middle of the mountain to about 900 meters of height and in full mountain range of Alpujarra Almeria is very hot. In the image of google maps where I point the orchard you see the water raft that we use to water.
Esta mañana mi padre fue a regar el huerto de nuevo. Es necesario regar cada 3-4 días ya que hace muchísimo calor y si no se riegan a menudo podrían secarse algunas plantas. Hay que tener en cuenta que el huerto está en mitad del monte a unos 900 metros de altura y en plena sierra de Alpujarra almeriense hace mucho calor. En la imagen de google maps donde señalo el huerto se ve la balsa de agua que usamos para regar.

La planta de tomates siguen creciendo, están bastantes grandes ya, pronto veremos los pequeños tomates en la planta. También pongo un vídeo para que veáis la planta de cerca.

This week we have picked up many cherries, we have taken a whole branch because we will have to prune the tree, and we have taken advantage of it today. The cherries are really good!!!
Esta semana hemos vuelto a coger muchas cerezas, hemos cogido una rama entera ya que luego habrá que podar el árbol, y hemos aprovechado para ello. ¡¡¡Están buenísimas las cerezas!!!

Jajaja año tras año se supera el huerto, es increíble la satisfacción que da poder tener las verduras cultivadas por uno mismo. Y cuando empiecen a salir tomates vais a alucinar :-)
