The Mountains Of Snowdonia National Park - North Wales

Snowdonia National Park in North Wales is one of my favourite places to visit. It is the home to one of Britains highest mountains, Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) which stands at 1085 metres (3650 feet).

My wife and I recently spent a couple of days in this beautiful part of the world and took a number of photographs on a car journey through the mountains which I thought I'd share with you all.

The two pictures above are of the river Rhythallt as it flows down the Llanberis Pass from Snowdon

The next seven pictures are general views of Snowdonia National Park.

The pictures below are of the waterfall in the village of Betws-y-Coed where we stayed for the night.

Although it was the beginning of February and freezing cold, Wales can still produce a landscape of wonder and beauty.

Absolutely stunning photography. I love that area too. Wales has quite breathtaking scenery. I used to visit as soon child with my parents.
