Vincent (@vcelier) showed pictures of the public market in Pécs.
I would like to tell you that there are also modern shopping centers in Hungary, not only small shops and public markets.
One of these shopping center is Árkád (Arcade) that is less than 500 metres from the public market:

In Árkád, you will find many shops, including a big InterSpar grocery store:
Spar is a Dutch multinational company that is present in 42 countries with over 12,000 stores, but not in North or South America. InterSpar is the brand of their hypermarkets. There are more than 10 Spar stores in Pécs, including 2 InterSpar.
Árkád looks like a typical shopping center, with many stores, both Hungarian and foreign.
[Sorry, the two pictures below are somewhat blurry. Vincent did not let me a lot of time to take these]
There is even a baker shop from the same company, Aranycipó, as the one in the public market.
The food court is starting to be invaded by some big American companies: McDonalds's, BurgerKing and KFC
I even found a French store!
All pictures, except the first one, taken by myself with Vincent's Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
I'll see you soon.
Interesting - I love shopping centres :)

Well, me too. But Vincent is not really a big fan.
