Although our cities flourish in green, many of us dream of staying in pure, wild nature. Many of us see urban parks as a poor substitute for the forest. Meanwhile, urban parks are often great little ecosystems.
Greenery in the city is not always subdued and planned. The lakes or forests in the area often fit into the urban landscape. Thanks to them we can easily feel more contact with nature, in a few moments jumping from the city center to the silence of the forest wilderness. I'm lucky, one of these places is near my house.
