After several hours of waiting at the Australian airport, we finally landed on Fiji on the main island of Vanua Levu. We spent the night in a hotel and the next day we flew to Savusavu. The warm words of greeting "Bula Bula" could be heard from a distance. Very nice and smiling people greeted us and you could feel like in a family;) Beauty Fiji intimidates and delights. Paradise beaches with white sand encourage walking. Unforgettable moments spent on Savusavu will remain in my heart, let me share them with you and encourage you to visit this amazingly charming place on earth.
Inhabitants call Fiji - Viti, and that means Sunrise, because it is the first day that welcomes a new day on Earth.

Yes. Twice in fact. I went there on my big round the world trip @margaretwise and loved it so much I went back before leaving the area. So I spent about two months there all to gether.
I imagine it has changed massively since I was there though. 😢
