Mesa, Arizona, USA

I was doing an early morning check of my GPU Miner, when I learned we were about to experience a RARE lunar eclipse. Such an eclipse has not happened since the year 1866. While I did not have the best viewpoint (Mesa, Arizona, USA) and even experienced a bit of cloud coverage, I was able to snap a few pics of this event.

Keep in mind I am not a photographer, but I think a few of my pics are worth looking at.

Enjoy and thanks for the Up-votes!

Welcome! Mesa, Idaho here!
Welcome to steemit, a couple tips for you: Go delete that second post, people get in a twist about double posts. Then go follow @juliank - there are ongoing photo challenges and you can get in with a very supportive group of fellow photogs there. And... sub to @photofeed and I would change one of your tags to photofeed right now. NICE SHOTS!!! I set my alarm, but we were socked in. No eclipse for me!

Hey thanks for the info. I'm a noob. Can you explain why the second post is not good (it's different)? I'm a noob, remember?

Well, not quite different enough to suit some folks. The thumbnail picture being the same, the title being almost the same... and not really significant differences in the text. Here comes the part where you get sorry you asked... lol!
Upvotes are paid out of the reward pool, there is only so much money generated per day that goes into the reward pool. People get twitchy if they think you are trying to double dip it on one post. They like to see original material. Now, you are going to see people putting up crap, just crap, and getting crazy payouts that will make you think "Why isn't fishy bitching at them?" and the answer is sad and simple: I cannot do anything about abusive whales. They exist, and if you piss them off they will destroy smaller accounts... but MOST of us are trying to create good content and play fair.
Peace!

Thank you for the info!
