Welcome to my project "At Home With Me". No makeup, no retouching, no studio lighting – a personal project by Mark Fitzgerald
Shot in each subject’s own home, they are instructed to leave the house as it is. No cleaning up, no modification. No new clothes, no makeup or preparation in any way. By this method we get a snapshot of the subject as they are in the space they feel most comfortable. This can reveal quirks, habits and hobbies, and can allow an audience to gather information to begin to piece together the story of the subject’s life and personality.
One thing seems true for all subjects: there is strength and beauty in this visual honesty.
