Yesterday we visited the Gerðarsafn Kópavogur Art Museum (in Iceland, near Reykjavik.) It was doing a retrospective of Gerður Helgadóttir, an Icelandic sculptor. She liveed 1928-1975 and worked in a variety of medium, most famously iron and stained glass.
The Icelandic 'ð' (Eth) is pronounced as a voiced "th" like in "father".
One of her pieces that stood out to me is "Babelsturn" (Tower of Babel), an iron sculpture:
At least, I think that's the right name! There were a cluster of four with a single tag; I hate it when museums do that, and Google search is not very illuminating.
There is a huge mosaic on the side of the Customs building in central Reykjavik which I'd seen on a previous trip; Gerður was the artist who designed that, too, and the retrospective included her drawing for it:
