It started raining just after I took these images. I bet the growth of the leaves will only accelerate. I'm looking forward to summer very much. May and early June look light green like this. Only when the summer progresses does the foliage turn darker green. I guess every time of year has its appealing aspects.
Our lawn is already green like that. I'm guessing I'll have to mow it sometime this weekend or early next week.
This field was one of the last snowy holdouts. But the snow in it had to yield to the warm spell of the past few weeks.
The sharp turn around the corner after that row of buildings can actually be a little dangerous. Nobody drives fast here but all the paperwork and hassle resulting from a collision would not be fun.
It's still greyish but there is enough green to change the feeling quite a bit.
It is amazing how the landscape changes so quickly and everything just blossoms into life. Very true it is not necessarily the accident , but all the hassles and headaches that go along with it.

A fender bender is just that, deformation of a mostly inconsequential piece of metal. But I remember everything that resulted from my accident before Christmas 2017. Lot's of stress, phone calls, visits to the shop even after it was fixed (on expensive part more had to be replaced).
