Ylöjärvi is smalltown to the northwest of Tampere. My wife wanted to buy a few pieces of furniture from a lady who was selling them online. I drove 30 km from the office to her house. While on the motorway in Pirkkala it started sleeting heavily. I had summer tires on so I had to drive very carefully. We decided to buy a couple of armchairs. Just as my wife thought, the seller was wealthy and needed to get rid of excess quickly because she needed to move. The seller and I discussed the furniture and both agreed that it would make sense to buy and sell homes furnished much more often than it is done in this country.
On the way back, I drove through the town centre of Ylöjärvi. It was a pity that darkness had fallen. But it gave me an opportunity to test the capabilities of my new camera. Ylöjärvi has a beautiful wooden church that is beautifully lit when it is dark. Because of the low light conditions, I had no choice but to use a high ISO value which meant a high level of sensor noise. I made the church pics black and white to make the graininess less annoying. Some of the graininess is not sensor noise but sleet. The result was what I'd call a very dramatic-looking security bunker against the devil. What do you think?
Hi markku. You have winter and summer tires? What is the difference. I thought you just put chains on or something.

Different patterns. Winter tires have metal studs on them. Chains would be too cumbersome and they would damage road surfaces too much.
