This is a mermorial to the fallen soldiers from India that fought on the side of the UK in WW1.

It’s is a truly beautiful place nestled up on the South Downs above Brighton.

The thing I love about Lightpainting is it’s a temporary fleeting thing.

Although the camera has registered this moment on its sensor, if someone had come along 2 mins after I had left they would have never had know i was even there.

Tread lightly on the earth is a great mantra to live life by, and here is the digital form of that I guess.

Photons combining to create a kind of temporary graffiti/art, to add colour and light to a place that has none....to bring back life, colour and joy without destroying anything....What better tribute to the fallen?!?!

Single frame long exposure, from back in 2012.
Minor tweaks in Lightroom and watermark added in post.

Have a great weekend guys :)
