We all went fishing yesterday!

Everybody caught something...

Both twins, and our middle...
And our oldest...

I taught her to bait her own hooks, and remove her own fishes... So she stayed on the other side of the pond fishing her heart out (daddies little girl!)

I caught a few decent bass (a couple of 14"s and a 13”) not pictured, I consider myself a fisherman, and bass of that size aren't really photo worthy, I save my pics for the big uns.

It was my first trip of the year, so normally I'd have been all consumed, and focused only on the fishing... But my wife has been pointing out how with four kids and me being caught up in my own personal fishing show where I'm the star... That she never gets time to fish. So this year, I resolved to do better by her.

So I set my poles down

and managed baiting hooks, untangling lines, and generally herding cats (2.5 year old twins) so she could get some fish time...

And what do ya know?

she skunked us all!

I told her that meant she got to clean him...
She said nice try asshole

so in honor of her epic victory...

I cleaned him up, and cooked him up tonight!
